I've been off the Amp for quite a while. Been jacked up and unable to see.
But, I got on tonight and tried to UL a song. I got a message saying I have to review 47 songs before I can UL my own. Isn't it still 3 songs I have to review? Also, I'm not showing as currently online, though my member homepage is still active. 'S'up widdat?

Don't know about uploading or about reviewing 47 songs but I've just tried to log in and the box jumps straight back to "alias - *******" over and over, it did the same thing late last night.
I tried to PM a Mod , it then took me to the 'Log in Page' where I was eventually able to get in!

Could there be a problem with how the site code is sending info to the databases, or with the bA databases themselves?? - Songs uploaded don't show up correctly , - Number of 'views' don't tally  (Marinos observation a while back), - Alerion has to comment on 47 songs (sounds like 'the site' knows he has 15 songs but cant see that he has already commented 137 times) and then there's this 'Logging On' business!!!!????

AHAAAA! I was able to sign on for the first time just now (it kept ignoring me just as many of you had experienced, despite constant attempts since this morning). Now to see what else is broken. Also, the time was WAY off earlier, but now I joyfully observe that the server is using eastern US time. JOY! Oh Wow! Now I notice that, when I started this post I was the last one on this thread. Now there are three others behind me...and they are posting several hours in the future!!! Rod Serling is standing at the edge of my lawn talking to no-one in particular, too...wonder what that means.....

had some strange uploading thing today, my song ended up under someone elses name and song title....,

i got his song in my list and he has mine in his list,

on both song pages there is only my mp3 audible

same issue as Flyer it seems

I've just "Uploaded an MP3 successfully", I did not have to review 190 songs or anything, BUT my 'song' ended up at https://forum.bandamp.org/Audio_Review/5.html which is , strangely enough also Sidres page !!!!!
I've just pressed the Edit button to edit MY OWN text and I get his initial post to edit and comment in !!!!!!!!!

Thats exactly whats happening to me Kings....Um   I think its time for me to consider the thought of going to another music site to continue on with the music...I have a feeling that Bandamp is on its last Watt...As Much as I dislike that thought....How do I delete songs that have been in previous Battles....that are no longer in my control to delete  ?

I've just tried to upload, and AGAIN my post has gone to Sidres page. Weird huh? Also when I tried again it went to someone else.

I also have 'Inside' by 'OvertoneBliss' on my music page.

UPDATE: Ok even weirder!

If I click 'play' on that inside song by overtonebliss... it plays the song I tried to upload! WTF? Something is seriously fucked up

I have the same thing on my page  Kings  a Blank song..lol
Oh well..Im going to try to upload a song   see what Happens

Seams to be working now, I just uploaded a song, no problems.
I deleted my original post/comment in Sindres page which took out all my comments from the whole page and it also deleted the 'second' ghost copy, but my 'song' took over poor Sindres !!!

It is on it's new server, and the programmers are working out the kinks now. Things are coming along. As punishment, you will have to write and record a song proclaiming your love for Bandamp. It must include the name of Lord Mud, and Downchuck the programmer. Also, please feel free to include all member names you wish. But it must be done, and recorded in two days time. Begin.

 i tried to remove it out of my song list and it deleted there, and 1 out of 2 in the audio review.., so theres 1 remaining called :

'the song is actually 'WhyNot' by MaxdB...' and its in Sindre's list

Ok...Im having the classic "Invalid Mp3" message when trying to upload.  Ive re-encoded the thing a dozen times at 3 different bit rates and renamed it without any kind of extra characters and still nothing..  DOWNCHUCK!!!!  Help please.....




Oh yeah, And once or twice I got "song must be atleast 1 mb" message whereas the song is over 4 mbs?




Nevermind... I tried IE and it worked this time.  Having to go back and forth between Firefox and IE to get everything to work... but i love this place so its worth it...

and like one old one but thats ok.

but now all of my regular mail went into my junk box.
