I too have problems writing lyrics, but the melody line is there already for most of the song.
It stands it's ground as an instrumental.
Try experimenting with different sounds on each verse/chorus to make it more interesting, even try different rhythms to parts of it, take out drums and bass, mix it up, or even change the tempo.  Dynamics are a great tool for any song, try it and see.
