Second Taste
This is me and a buddy of mine.  I sang and wrote the melody and lyrics.  The rest is him.  Enjoy.

Nice job.  Really prog, but that's my thing Production value's pretty good, but if you can open the sound up more and fill out the bass, I think it'll sound a lot better.  Also, turn yourself up.  You have a great voice, and I wanna hear it

at first i didn't like this track b/c of the dissonant sound, but after listening again, i liked it a lot.  the song could use some sound-opening, like cutie6 said.  other than that, i think it's balanced very nicely.  may want to turn the vocal volume up just a small bit on that first section of the song.

very nice song!

Thanks
Thanks a lot guys, all your feedback is really appreciated.  And yeah, I agree that the vocals should be louder in the beginning mix... but try telling that to a hardcore Meshuggah fan Heheh, he's great though.  Best indie drummer I've ever seen live.

Very cool!
Very nice, I like the guitar a lot, your voice is lost in the beginning of the song, and it's small sonically, meaning or more low mids or a full telephone bandpass would of suited the idea better, the mix is cool in crescendo is always a good formula, as far as my taste goes, to much fx in the vocals, maybe pan out the flanger/phaser or layer through the song, but as I said good song, Transistor(ize) and I agree.

I'd love to hear you...
In your hard rock band. You have a dark yet soothing voice, this stuff reminds me a bit of Portishead very relaxing stuff. But I agree with the other guys, your voice should be brought out a little more and the sounds mad e a bit fuller to make this song really awesome.

Any copies of your band Bulb floating around the Internet, if so I'd love to hear them.

Cheers!

Thanks so much. I'll see if I can dig up some tracks from the bowels of my hard drive.  I must have a cd lying around here somewhere... but ever since I moved a year ago I've been missing some stuff
