this is more than I bargained for 

I agree about the sound - this was my first experience with Garage Band. and I didn't think much about the panning at all.  

I'm not sure I'm going to fix it. I would like to eventually have a band again and record with them - I'm just going to keep this as a demo and move on to the next song.

I'm also practicing my voice again more regularly

p.s. taka, if you meant the harpsichord and guitar not being together in the end, that's the one thing I did on purpose...
